The Carpenter & Sons Return Policy: Hassle-Free Returns for Your Peace of Mind

We want you to be completely satisfied with your purchase from The Carpenter & Sons. If for any reason you're not happy, we offer a simple return process.

Received an item that's damaged in transit?

We understand that accidents happen. If your order arrives damaged, please contact us within seven (7) business days at info@thecarpenterandsons.com. We'll be happy to help you get a replacement or issue a full refund.

Changed your mind about a non-custom item?

No problem! We accept returns of unworn and unmodified items within 30 days of delivery. Just send us an email at info@thecarpenterandsons.com to initiate your return.

Here's what to keep in mind for returns:

  • We kindly ask that you return the items within 30 days of delivery using your preferred shipping method.
  • To ensure a smooth return process, please return the items in their original packaging, if possible.
  • We'll refund the full product price (excluding shipping costs) once we receive and inspect the returned items.
  • To minimize the risk of damage during return shipping, please pack the items securely. We cannot be responsible for items damaged in transit due to insufficient packaging.

A few things to note:

  • There's a 20% restocking fee for:
    • Items constructed in Black Walnut, Hard Maple, Red Oak, or White Oak.
    • Items returned after 30 days but within 90 days of delivery.
  • Unfortunately, we cannot accept returns after 90 days or for custom-made items, specialty wood items, or items that have been modified (mortised, drilled, etc.).

Deposits and payments made towards custom orders are non-refundable.
